Catalyst Network of Communities, the Long Beach non-profit that asks us to “Connect and Affect” and leads by example, is holding its Second Annual Assembly of the Catalyst Network of Communities Saturday, October 20. The assembly event calls upon local agents of change who are making a difference in the community by taking an active role in shaping it. This includes dozens of community groups, organizations, businesses and individuals who share an inspiring vision for greater change.  The assembly will take place at the new Catalyst Center for Urban Sustainability and will concurrently celebrate its grand opening. This free, public event will begin at 11 a.m. with a team ZUMBA USA fitness activity, followed by live music, speaker presentations, dance performances and more. Download the flyer
