New Christmas Standards by The Unit is a six-song holiday EP featuring Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Sy Smith, L. Young, Crystal Starr, Myra Washington, Mike Corrado, Farah Mitha, and Martin Kember (Color Me Badd). The lead single, “Crescent Moon Christmas,” gives a new take on Old St. Nick and is a blend of country, rock, and funk. We announced the multi-genre mini album in our press release.

In a ‘First Listen’ article, senior writer, Howard Dukes, describes the EP as “. . . an energetic amalgamation of artists . . .” and compliments the band’s original holiday R&B, funk, soul and rock.
