“BAMBOO” by Rashondra Angelle is a soulful, vocal house music anthem that declares resilience and echoes human sentiments from the soul.

Nearly 10 years after releasing her debut indie soul album, The After Glow, Los Angeles singer-songwriter and poet, Rashondra Angelle, is back with new music. She returns to L.A.’s underground with a strong hold on a new dance single, “BAMBOO,” produced by Beats Rhymes Soul Production aka S.O.U.L.-O..

Written and co-produced by songwriter and SolShock founder, Sharreace, “BAMBOO” tells a story of strength and rebound, carried by Rashondra’s lush lead vocals and melodic hook. Pulsating drums, emotional lyrics with flute and jazzy sax by Long Beach musician, Brandon Baker, make “BAMBOO,” a stand-out groove.

Behind the lens of this project is photographer, voice-over artist, musician and poet, Matthew “Slim da Reazon” Parham. The cover art, graphics, and lyric video were produced by Red Thread Creative.

This marks the first collaboration for the independent artists whose journeys date back to the early 2000s. Connected through a deep love for music and close-knit L.A./Long Beach underground scene, the “BAMBOO” crew was destined to blend their talents to create art. Collectively, the team aims to top DJ playlists and shine across all music streaming platforms.

“BAMBOO” by Rashondra Angelle is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube and more.
