This article is void of the usual lengthy descriptive intro; there is no journalistic approach – just links to the music and dope new playlists curated by SolShock on YouTube and Spotify. If you love Hip Hop, Pop and R&B and have never listened to Jay Park (before he signed with Roc Nation), start here. The B-boy, Rapper, Singer-Songwriter and owner of record labels, AOMG and H1ghr Music is one of THE dopest artists – period.

Like the other artists featured in this post, the incomparable singer-songwriter/producer from Seoul, South Korea has fans on every continent. The hits he’s written and produced for others have charted consistently and his most recent U.S. singles, “Love” (with Syd from The Internet) and “Put My Hands on You” (feat. Anderson.Paak – Dean’s favorite American producer) have catapulted him into a cozy niche of R&B that is all his own. His sound is heavily R&B with nuances of jazz, pop, electronic and HipHop. Invite a little of Dean Trbl (Trouble) into the soundtrack of your life. You will not regret it.

90’s-2000’s Soul and R&B inside a 20-something rising star who you will ultimately have a crush on. It doesn’t take much to be seduced by his voice and lyrics. His style is alluring and authentic yet, you can hear the influence of American R&B icons, in addition to jazz, throughout his songs. In a 2016 interview with KCON TV, he mentioned wanting to work with jazz artist, Norah Jones. If you love Neo-soul and R&B and have never heard of Crush, start here.

Singer/Rapper/Producer/Joy-bringer. If you love Hip Hop and a dope flow, you’ll have no problem showing Zico some love. Prepare to become a fan.

This playlist contains the top favorite songs performed and produced by Gray – artist and producer extraordinaire from the AOMG crew. (Some of his songs are also included in the Brunch and Jay Park for President playlists.) He has produced so many hits for other artists, hits of his own like the popular “Just Do It,” are happily welcomed by fans.
