CALB at the Shore: The New Art & Music Hot Spot at Shoreline Village

by :

Leave it to the creative community of artists at CALB (Cultural Alliance of Long Beach) to transform an unoccupied 1,200 square foot building into a cozy, vibrant art gallery. CALB at the Shore is a weekend series of art exhibits and live performances, and is the latest gem of a venue for Long Beach artists. The new weekend hot spot is located at 423 Shoreline Village Drive inside the bright yellow building, upstairs from Shenanigans Irish Pub and Grille. CALB at the Shore kicked off on November 7 and has been bursting with rhythm at Shoreline Village ever since.

Why you should go:

  • CALB at the Shore is family-friendly. Beverages are provided for a small donation and a children’s art table is offered on Sundays.
  • CALB at the Shore offers a lively selection of art curated by CALB members themselves. A sort of “For Artists, by Artists” allows for a beautiful snapshot of the artistic diversity in Long Beach.
  • Although it’s in the heart of Shoreline Village, CALB at the Shore provides a unique off the beaten path experience within the tourist-driven scene.
